Many profiles, including @hashim_tung, @zain_rajpoot39 also believed that a father in Palestine asks his daughter to laugh whenever they hear bomb sounds while they are giving out toys. The bomb explodes at that exact moment, and they both burst into laughter. The archive can be read from above.
What is the Truth About the Father and Daughter Video? : Fact
In actuality, this is an old video from Syria that was taken in 2020 by a man by the name of Abdullah Mohammed, who laughed with his daughter at the sound of bombs going off in order to help her get over her fear. Palestine is not related to it at all.
We visited AP News, which published an article on this viral video on Feb 25, 2020. It attached the picture where Abdullah Mohammed plays with three-year old daughter inside a house, where he fled near the Syrian-Turkish border. He loves her daughter so much that he would do anything to make her laugh, even if it means forcing himself to laugh at the sound of exploding bombs, to help her overcome her fear.
