FACTCHECK- Without permission, a house in Karnataka’s Belagavi was turned into a mosque.

ANALYSIS: Misleading

FACT:A private house was converted into Mosque in Karnataka’s Belagavi without permission from the authorities. Corporation had issued a notice regarding the building license violation by carrying out religious activities on the residential property. The mosque has been sealed after the notice from the City Corporation Belagavi. To build any religious place,you need license in India, they don’t have that. Karnataka has 10889 mosques ( Small mosques are not included) where BJP state Govt gave licence to play loudspeaker

INTENT: Religious extremists spreading fake news from Karnataka, supporting illegal activities in the state, trying to create communal disharmony among religious groups.
