Several other accounts, including South Asian Journal (“@sajournal1“), @Alvi3334O, KNEWSHD (“@okaab786“) also made the same claim that during Christmas celebrations, Kuki Christians were attacked by hundreds of Hindutva militants. The truth is that these assertions are unfounded and fraudulent. This May 2023-uploaded video was discovered on YouTube. However, reports state that on Christmas, Kuku-Zo militants terrorised the Meitei villages of Yaingangpokpi, Santikhonbal, and Thamnapokpi Khounou. Though on high alert, the Meitei community, in the spirit of Christmas, did not retaliate. No casualties were reported on December 25–26.

But according to reports, on Christmas, Kuku-Zo militants terrorised the Meitei villages of Yaingangpokpi, Santikhonbal, and Thamnapokpi Khounou. Despite being on high alert, the Meitei community chose not to retaliate out of consideration for Christmas. December 25–26 saw no casualties reported.
