FACTCHECK: “Woman Brutally Beaten by Husband and Relatives Over Suspicion of Infidelity”

FACT:A video of a woman is being circulated on social media with the claim that the woman was beaten up by her husband/relatives on the suspicion of character.The incident took place in Taragarh village under Aalot police station in Ratlam district According to police The woman had fled with her neighbour in February. She was later recovered by the police but she refused to live with her husband and went back to her lover. However, she suddenly returned to her husband’s abandoned house unlawfully following which her husband/relatives/villagers beat her up after tying her to a tree ,when she refused to vacate the house.

INTENT: So called media persons are spreading misleading news to set their agenda against government and Police.
