A video showing what appears to be a fire or explosion during nighttime is being widely circulated on social media with the false claim that it captures a Pakistani missile strike on the Adampur Air Force Station amid recent India-Pakistan tensions. However, our investigation confirms that the video actually shows a farm fire and is unrelated to any military event.
A Pakistani influencer, @MansurQr, posted the clip with the claim that it shows a missile strike on Adampur Air Force Station.
India: “S-400 is unstoppable.”
Pakistan: Hold my Shaheen.
Adampur Air Base’s S-400 Cheeseboard radar gets a direct kiss from a Pakistani hypersonic anti-radar missile.
Clip 1: Launch
Clip 2: Impact
Rest is burnt history.

Another Pakistani account, @ForumStrategic, posted the video with the misleading claim:
Attention: Exclusive
CM-400 Hypersonic ARM fired from JF-17 Thubdey Block-II hits S-400 HIMAD’s Cheeseboard Radar at Adampur Air Force Station. Note: We have attached 2x videos as supplementary evidence from CT College. Note 2.0: Those who are saying that JF-17 Thunder video carrying 2x CM-400 AKG ARM is of morning & the footage released is a “PR Package”, original attack was conducted before dawn. Video Date: 10th May 2025 during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos

Several accounts @ZayyadAmjad and @Defence_Index have published this post to mislead the public and escalate tensions online.
Truth Behind the Viral Fire Video Claimed as Missile Strike on Adampur:
As a misleading video claiming a Pakistani missile strike on Adampur Air Force Station went viral, the D-Intent Data Team launched an investigation. The viral footage in question actually shows a farm fire, not a missile or drone attack. Both the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jalandhar officially debunked this false narrative on May 8–9, 2025.
Official clarification from DC Jalandhar regarding the CT College video:
“This is an unrelated video. Jalandhar has seen some drones tonight and are being neutralised by the Army. This video is at 7:39 PM as seen in the display, while the first drone was sighted near 9 PM. This has been confirmed as a farm fire. Please do not spread the video. Thanks.”
