Several users, influencer, propagandists and political workers have shared the image of an individual in police custody. And claimed that he is the same person who made lewd comments on Captain Anshuman Singh’s wife Smriti Singh.
Serial fake news peddler and propagandist account @SonOfBharat7 on X ( Formerly Twitter) has shared the image of the individual in public custody and wrote. Madrasa graduate jihadi Mohammad Ahmed Katua arrested for making obscene comments on martyred captain’s wife.
Another user @MYogiDevnath who has 1.3 Million followers on X has also shared the image and said. Jihadi Mohammad Ahmed arrested for making derogatory comments on the martyred captain’s wife.
Propagandist account @Mithilawaala also posted the image and said. Madarasa chaap who posted obscene comments on the picture of the martyred Indian Army’s soldier’s wife has been arrested. He later deleted the post.
Sharing the image Avkush Singh @AvkushSingh wrote. Madrasa student arrested for making lewd remarks on martyr Captain Anshuman Singh’s wife he later deleted the post.

Truth about the image of false arrest claim of commenter, Fact Check
As soon as the posts came to our knowledge, we tried to find if the claims are true or false.During research, we found the same image of an individual in police custody on DCP Central Delhi’s official X account. According to the police. Mohd Kasim, a proclaimed offender evading trial in a snatching case, was apprehended by the diligent efforts of a team of PS Hauz Qazi staff.
Hence, the man in police custody is not Ahmad K who made lewd comments on martyred captain Anshuman Singh’s wife but Mohd Kasim who was apprehended in a snatching case.
