The truth about the claims, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the claims and found that these claims were false and self-invented.

To verify the claims made by the users. We performed multiple reverse image searches of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. These actions led us to media reports and police sources containing the same images used in the viral video.

The image of a group of people in police custody was from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh where six people were arrested for smuggling illegal weapons in Madrasa in July 2019.

Another image depicting an individual preparing food was taken from a YouTube video uploaded in July 2016.

The image of drugs is from Sri Lanka where an elderly man and his son were taken into STF custody along with a stock of illegal drugs worth Rs.4 million when their house was raided at Wolfendhal Street in Colombo, in May 2019.
