Fact-Check: Viral Video Claiming Security Guard Rescued Child From Open Elevator Shaft Is AI-Generated

A shocking video is being widely circulated on social media showing a small child wandering toward an open elevator gap while a security guard rushes in at the last moment to rescue the child. The clip is being presented as a real-life incident from an apartment building and is framed as a heroic act caught on camera. However, this claim is false. The video does not depict a real event and has been artificially generated using AI technology.

The misleading clip was shared and amplified by multiple social media accounts, including @sanatan_kannada@SouleFacts@Intl_Relations0, and @GPX_Press. These accounts presented the video as a genuine incident and used emotional captions to drive engagement and virality.

Truth: Viral Elevator Rescue Video Is an AI-Generated Creation

As the false claim gained traction on social media, it drew our attention. The D-Intent Data Team conducted a detailed frame-by-frame investigation and keyword research. We closely examined the visuals, motion consistency, facial expressions, and environmental details in the clip. This analysis revealed clear signs of artificial generation, including unnatural movements and inconsistent spatial depth. Further investigation through reverse image searches and platform tracing led us to the Instagram account @hero0f.life, which originally uploaded the video.

The account regularly posts AI-generated content, and its bio explicitly states that the videos shared are created using artificial intelligence. Importantly, there are no verified or credible news reports confirming that such an incident occurred in real life. This confirms that the video is not authentic and was created solely for digital engagement.

Intent:

Influencers are circulating AI-generated videos without providing the actual information to get the spotlight on social media.
