FACTCHECK: Based on a complaint by a Hindutva group, police raided a Christian pastor’s home and arrested him and six other women over allegations of religious conversions.

FACT: Actually villagers complained about religious conversion, after which the police reached the spot and raided the house of Ramanand Sahni, who lives in the village. Hundreds of women and men were found in his house during the raid.Police said they were converting poor people by exorcising them and luring them with money. Police has arrested 8 people including a pastor, Religious books, cash, religious cards and other religious items recovered from them.

INTENT: Anti-India lobby spreading news with false claim to target India. To create unrest in the country they are hiding news of conversions and spreading fake propaganda.
