FACT: India assumes the G20 Presidency on the 1st of December 2022 from Indonesia and will convene the G20 Leaders’ Summit for the first time in the country in 2023. The presidency is chosen through a system of rotation. Each year in December a different G20 member country assumes the presidency from one among five Group.All countries within a group are eligible to take over the G20 Presidency when it is their group’s turn
