Serial fake news peddler and propagandist account @PSYWAROPS on X (Formerly Twitter) has made a post and said. In Doda, Kastigarh, after facing losses from local freedom fighters, Indian troops have begun targeting innocent Kashmiri civilians. Indian troops lobbed grenades at a school, injuring several minors, Later, the post was removed.

Another fake news peddler account from Pakistan @HelloPKofficial also shared the video and captioned. Multiple minors injured after Indian troops allegedly targeted a school in Kashtigarh, Kashmir. This escalation in violence is alarming and calls for immediate international attention.
Truth behind the claims about School targeted by Indian security forces in the Kastigarh, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the claims came to our notice, we conducted research and found no such reports.
According to reports, a fresh gunfight broke out between security forces and terrorists in a forest village in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Thursday. The encounter erupted in Jaddan Bata village in the Kastigarh area around 2 am when terrorists opened fire on the security search parties. As per the report two soldiers were injured in the gunfight with the terrorists.
ANI posted a video from the same location, where the encounter started late in the night in the Kastigarh area of Doda.
Moreover, we found that India TV journalist Manish Prasad shared the short video and captioned, Encounter at Kastigarh area of Doda Started. IndianArmy & JKP is in action. During intensive research, we came across a news report from the J&K-based media outlet ‘Daily Excelsior‘. According to the report, the wall of a school was damaged in a firing incident by terrorists at Jaddan Bata in Doda. There are no news reports stating that Indian forces fired at a school in Kashmir or targeted civilians.
Hence, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the claims made by Pakistan-based propaganda accounts are false and self-invented. In reality terrorists targeted a school and damaged its wall.
