The tweet post was made on Nov 22, 2023, which was further reposted by more than 100 twitter users.

Several other accounts, including Angry (“@angryopinionatd“) Bruno_Attal_, Theressita461, RadioGenoa claimed on the twitter post that because she was not in hijab, the American tourist on Turkish Airlines suffered severe beatings. The truth is that the woman in the hijab attempted to release the woman from the man who was punching and dragging her over the overhead lockers. The incident happened on April 10, 2021, at Istanbul Airport in Turkey on Tunisair flight TU216.

We visited dailymail, which published an article on this incident on April 14, 2021. Different visuals from the incident were attached in this article, including the image of the male passenger, who was filmed dragging a woman by her hair before punching her in the head.
