Several accounts on twitter, including Sikhs are not Hindu (“@akaal_sewak“) made the same claim that Following her refusal to marry him, a dalit woman is harassed by a Hindu man and his relatives, who then attempt to rape her. The tweet was made on Dec 27, 2023, which has received an about 26.9k views on X.

The truth is that these assertions are unfounded and fraudulent. This is an old video from September 2021 showing a woman being harassed by six men in the Saran district of Bihar. After the video went viral on October 5, 2021, police swiftly took action against the perpetrators and arrested every accused person connected to the incident.
