Shahjahan Chopped The Hands Of The Workers Who Built The Taj Mahal? Fact-Check 

There are rumours circulating that Shah Jahan chopped the hands of the labourers who constructed the Taj Mahal, whereas PM Narendra MOdi showered flowers on the workers who built the Ram Mandir.

@SjAmruta tweeted “They cut off the hands of workers who built Taj Mahal for them. We shower flowers on Shramveers who build #RamMandirAyodhya Yes we’re not same vro we’re not! #श्रमवीर” on Jan 22, 20224. The tweet has received an about 698.8k views on X.

Several other accounts, including CHIRAG TALWAR (“@Chiragtalwar23“), @VarierSangitha, Vipin Tiwari (“@Vipintiwari952“) also made the same claim that while our PM showered flowers on the architects and craftsmen who built the Ram Mandir, Shah Jahan chopped off the hands of those who designed and crafted the Taj Mahal. The truth is that these assertions are unfounded and fraudulent. The assertion has previously been refuted numerous times. The fact remains that Shah Jahan’s labourers constructed Shahjahanabad, a brand-new imperial city in Delhi, for him after completing the Taj. It would never have been possible to and maim thousands of skilled artisans and quickly find replacements to work on another equally ambitious project
