Verified accounts on twitter, including @cackenbools tweeted “Alternate angle on Francis Scott Key bridge shows a large explosion” on March 26, 2024. The tweet has received an about 1.5M views on X.

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

In actuality, this is an old capture from Crimea, Russia, depicting the October 2022 explosion of the Kerch Bridge. The Francis Scott Key Bridge incident is unrelated to it. The video was uploaded in Youtube on October 8, 2022. It has nothing to do with Baltimore Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse. We visited bbc, which published an article on this incident on October 9, 2022 with the headline “Crimea bridge: Video shows moment of huge explosion”. The bridge, built on Vladimir Putin’s orders, is a vital link in the movement of military equipment into Ukraine. Moscow had illegally acquired the region four years before. Russian investigators have reported three deaths.
