FACT: 6.6 magnitude #earthquake hit countries including Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter is believed to be Hindu-Kush-Himalayan Region.An image is being circulated with the claim that a building has collapsed in #Kupwara ,#Kashmir in which 3 people lost their lives. But fact is that shared image is from Turkey where thousands of people lost their lives due to earthquake in Feb 2023.Kupwara police & Deputy Commissioner clarified no casualty reported in Karnah Kupwara. The news about three deaths is fake/baseless.
