A more than 7-Years-Old video of Police Thrashing Youths in Surat, Gujarat circulated as Recent

A few days ago, a video circulated on social media. It claimed that recently, policemen thrashed two young boys. They were from the minority community. They were tied on the bonnet of a police vehicle for eve-teasing. Several users on Twitter shared the video. One of them had the username @sndhya22. However, investigation revealed that this is an old incident. The two boys were Nadeem and Qadir. They belonged to the Muslim community. They received a lesson after they molested girls in Surat, Gujarat. Policemen thrashed them for molesting women and vandalizing vehicles. The incident occurred on 9 December 2015.
