A few days ago, a video from Etah, Uttar Pradesh, started making rounds on social media. The video showed a quarrel and the claim was that people from the Hindu community attacked a Muslim house to forcefully capture it and bulldoze it. They also claimed that the police arrested a member of the victim’s family instead of the accused.

However, the Etah Police clarified that this incident was a clash over a land dispute between two parties. They took action against both parties involved. The incident had no religious angle as claimed by the propagandists. On 27th August 2023, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Etah, gave a byte in connection with this dispute under the police station Kotwali Dehat area.
