The truth is that Sandeep Singh (a social activist and journalist, according to his Twitter account bio) is not Priyanka Gandhi’s personal secretary, but rather someone who was previously spotted with Rahul Gandhi on the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Activist Sandeep Singh posted the photo with Rahul Gandhi on Facebook on March 24, 2024. We visited lokmatnews, which published an article on this incident on August 14, 2019 with the headline “Know who is Priyanka Gandhi’s personal assistant Sandeep Singh, had once shown black flags to former PM Manmohan Singh in JNU.” . The journalist had actually lodged an FIR against Sandeep Singh, who is Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Personal Secretary. It was mentioned in the FIR that Nitish Kumar, who is a Varanasi resident, had alleged that when Priyanka Gandhi came to Sonbhadra, her personal assitant beat him and also threatened and abused him during the news coverage. Further, we visited The Print, which wrote about this in an article posted on March 31, 2019 with the heading “Rahul Gandhi’s new adviser is a former JNU student who waved black flags at Manmohan Singh”. It added “Sandeep Singh has not been designated the Congress president’s political adviser yet. But he is the one writing his speeches, and is known to have Gandhi’s ears on the issue of alliances too.”. Sandeep Singh, a native of UP, was elected JNU Student Union chief in 2007. He is now working his AISA roots to give Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra an edge(Here is the twitter profile of Sandeep Singh).

@ANINewsUP tweeted “Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Narayanpur on if she has been arrested: Yes, we still won’t be cowed down. We were only going peacefully to meet victim families(of Sonbhadra firing case). I don’t know where are they taking me, we are ready to go anywhere.” on July 19, 2019.
