Fact Check: A scripted video of a young man harassing a girl on the street was shared as a real-life incident

A video that has been circulating on social media shows a biker harassing a girl on the street, followed by a confrontation from a bystander. This clip has been misrepresented as a genuine incident occurring in Delhi NCR. However, D-Intent Data has found that the video was not a real-life incident but scripted content.

Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter), propagandist account @SonOfBharat7 wrote. My father is the president, I will tease any girl I want. Your eyes will be stunned after watching the video. After misbehaving with the girl in broad daylight, see the attitude of this boy, no fear, no terror. The video is about some colony of Delhi NCR.

The truth about the viral video, Fact Check 

As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video. And found that the video was not a real-life situation but scripted.

To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to a YouTube video containing the same content. Upon closely watching the video, we found that at the 57-second mark; it includes a disclaimer that reads that the content made in the video should be considered for entertainment purposes only. The video was uploaded by a content creator named Aman Beniwal who creates such scripted videos for entertainment and educational purposes.

Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the viral video of a biker harassing a girl on the street was not a real-life incident. But a scripted video created by content creator Aman Beniwal.
