Fact Check: Administration demolished illegal encroachments in Farrukhabad, propagandists circulate misleading claims

A video circulating online shows bulldozers demolishing structures, claiming the government has demolished 25 houses belonging to the Yadav or OBC community in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. However, these houses were built on encroached government land, and multiple notices were issued for eviction. The occupants lost a court case, leading the administration to remove the illegal structures. This action is unrelated to the persecution of any specific caste or community.

Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) propagandist account @surya_samajwadi wrote, In Farrukhabad, 25 Yadavs were rendered homeless by bulldozing their houses without any prior notice. Where will 200 people including small children go in this rainy season? Even after torturing the poor so much, he still uses Yogi before his name. (Translated from Hindi)

Another account @IPSinghSp also shared the visuals and wrote. Which Supreme Court, which Supreme Order. Yogi’s bulldozers are roaring every day. Bulldozers were run on 25 Yadav houses in Farrukhabad and they were made homeless in this rainy season. Where will these 230 poor people including women and small innocent children go in this rainy season?
