As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was not related to India but a protest against a Bangladeshi Hindu lecturer over the allegations of blasphemy.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to several initial posts regarding the protests. According to the initial posts (1, 2) this video depicts protests against a Hindu lecturer, Shrestha Halder, over allegations of blasphemy. No verified and credible sources support the claims made on social media.
