Several images depicting a woman resembling the late former PM Indira Gandhi in revealing clothing have been shared online, claiming to be authentic. However, these images are fake and AI-generated. They were uploaded in May 2023 on DeviantArt, an online platform where artists showcase and share diverse creative works, including digital and AI-generated art.
Sharing the images on X (Formerly Twitter) propaganda account @KhalsaVision wrote, “Why didn’t @KanganaTeam show the erotic stories of Indra Gandhi in her propaganda movie? After all, she used to amuse Russians in her early 20s…”

The truth about the photos shared as PM Indira Gandhi, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the images and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the images. We found that these images were not real but AI-generated creations.
To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed a reverse image search using Google Lens. This led us to a post containing the same images on “DeviantArt” uploaded in May 2023. DeviantArt is an online platform where artists showcase and share diverse creative works, including digital and AI-generated art.
The images were shared by an account named “Her Softer Side,” which focuses on portraying well-known female characters in intimate and delicate settings, often depicted in undergarments to highlight a more personal and softer side of their personalities.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the images were not real but AI-generated creations.
