Fact Check: An old video of a group of people attacking a shop in Noakhali, Bangladesh circulated with misleading claims

A video circulating online shows individuals attacking a shop and its workers, with claims that it portrays a recent incident of extremists targeting Hindus in Bangladesh. However, the video is actually from December 2023 and depicts a conflict between two Muslim groups in Companiganj Upazila, Noakhali Bangladesh stemming from a personal dispute. The footage is neither recent nor connected to religious hate crimes.
