A dramatic video is making the rounds on social media, showing four men scrambling across a rocky hillside as gunfire rings out. User claiming it shows Pakistani terrorists fleeing after the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir. But the video is old—online since at least February 4, 2025. There’s no evidence linking it to the Indian Army or any recent operation, and the location remains unverified. It’s being repackaged to provoke fear during a sensitive period.
The post gained traction quickly, sparking fear and confusion online. But after a brief surge in attention, @amitxyz93 quietly deleted the post — raising further questions about its authenticity.

However, before the post was deleted, we had already taken screenshots — and they clearly show the misleading claim being made.
The truth behind this video:
After the video began gaining traction, the D-Intent team conducted an Investigation. we did a reverse image search, frame by frame search and metadata analysis to trace its clip. The findings revealed that the footage is old and was February 4, 2025—well before the recent Pahalgam incident. There is no evidence connecting the clip to the Indian Army or to any recent operation in Jammu & Kashmir. In fact, the location shown in the video remains unverified, further indicating that the footage is both unrelated and outdated. Despite this, it is now being repackaged to provoke fear and heighten tensions during an already sensitive period.

This pattern — sharing viral misinformation and quietly deleting it once exposed — is common during high-tension events, where misinformation spreads rapidly.
