As the claim spread online, the D Intent Data Team began investigating. We used keyword searches and found no official sources or statements to support the claim that Iran is screening Indian citizens. Two credible accounts—@MEAIndia and @Iran_in_India shared updates confirming smooth evacuation efforts. Under Operation Sindhu, 4,415 Indians (3,597 from Iran and 818 from Israel) were brought home on 19 special flights, including some by the Indian Air Force. There were no reports of any special security screenings. No government statement or reliable news outlet has mentioned such an order from Iran.
