A video circulating online, which shows a group of people involved in a physical altercation on the streets, is being falsely claimed to depict locals in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh assaulting a school principal accused of inappropriate behavior with a teacher after their video went viral. However, this claim is misleading. The video is actually from September 2024 and originates from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, where it captured a clash between two groups following a vehicle accident. It has no connection to the recent viral incident involving the school principal and teacher.
Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) @Anika_Pan wrote, “The “Principal” who made him do “oral sex” was beaten up. Madam was seen protecting the principal. Madam is also a little less…” ( Translated from Hindi). Later, she deleted the post.

Propaganda account @ocjain4 also shared the video and wrote, “Chittorgarh’s principal was beaten up by people and madam was protecting him from getting beaten up. If I were there I would have said wrap this too. (Translated from Hindi). Later, she deleted the post.

Another account @HasnaZaruriHai has shared an image of a woman claiming to be the female teacher in the viral video. Later, he deleted the post.

Several other users and Influencers have also shared the image and video with similar claims. Their posts can be seen here, @Men_emotn_matrs, @iamguruvendra, @azad_dulesingh, @Gurjarekta968, @balmukundjoshi, @kdgothwal1.
The truth about the viral video and photo
As soon as the posts containing the visuals and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis regarding the video and photo. We found that the video was from Himachal Pradesh and the image of the woman was unrelated to the viral video.
To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video using Google Lens. This led us to a news report containing the same visuals published in September 2024. According to the report, this is an old video from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, showing a fight between two groups following a vehicle accident in September 2024. It has no connection to the recent viral incident involving the school principal and teacher.
Additionally, the image of a woman being circulated as the teacher is false. The woman in the photo has clarified via an Instagram story and post that the image is her. She has also filed a complaint against those sharing her photo with derogatory remarks.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the video and image were not related to the recent incident that occurred at a school in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
