A video showing angry farmers destroying vegetables on the road during a protest is being shared with the claim that Bangladesh has stopped importing Indian vegetables, leading to massive protests in India due to a drop in local market prices. However, the video is actually from 2018 and has no connection to recent events in the subcontinent.

Farmers in Kolkata are telling the media outlets that, Indian farmers have started committing suicide due to not getting fair prices for onions due to reduced exports.”
