As soon as the posts containing the video of an ISIS member threatening Hamas militants came to our notice. We conducted research and found that this is an old video from January 2018 and has nothing to do with the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
To verify the claims made by propagandists and Hamas sympathizers. We did a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google which led us to media reports containing the same video uploaded in January 2018.
The video was uploaded on the YouTube channel of Al Jazeera Arabic with the title. ‘ISIS escalates the threat against Hamas’.
