Pakistan-based anti-India propaganda accounts are spreading false claims that six Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistan’s heavy artillery firing near the border. However, these claims are entirely fabricated. According to reports, Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and suffered heavy casualties due to a strong retaliatory response from the Indian Army.
Making a post on X (Formerly Twitter), serial fake news peddler and propagandist account @NavCom24 wrote, “BREAKING: Just confirmed, 06 Indian soldiers have been killed by Pakistan’s heavy artillery firing near the border.”

Another propaganda account, @SAnPerspective, also shared old images and wrote, “Just In: Pakistan Army retaliates with intense firing at the LoC, resulting in significant losses for Indian forces.”

To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed relevant keyword searches and found media reports regarding the situation. On Tuesday, an infiltration attempt by the Pakistan Army in the Krishna Ghati area of the Poonch district was successfully thwarted. Pakistani soldiers and infiltrators initiated gunfire, prompting a decisive retaliation from the Indian Army. Sources suggest that four to five infiltrators from the Pakistan Army were killed, although official confirmation is still awaited. The Indian Army confirmed that there was no loss of life or property on its side.
Additionally, the image of injured soldiers used in the propaganda posts is outdated and dates back to July 2024.
Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the claims were false and self-invented.
