FACT: A video is being circulated on social media with misleading claim in which a temple can be seen being demolished, viral video is from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa where the temple of Lord Bholenath built for several decades in front of the BJP office under the Civil Line police station area in Rewa was being razed late last night with a JCB machine. Locals allege that a conspiracy was being hatched by the shopkeepers of the rear complex, which also houses a BJP office, to demolish the temple in the name of beautification According to reports, no permission was taken from the district administration or police to demolish the temple, but Infact SDM Huzur Anurag Tiwari explained to the crowd and helped resolve the issue. City president/BJP leader Venkatesh Pandey said that some part of the temple was dilapidated, due to which it had to be beautified, but some people forcibly came and started a ruckus. Mandir committee has said this is to beautify the temple.
