Fact Check

Old Video from Gujarat Falsely Shared as RSS March in Balochistan

A video circulating on social media shows a large crowd enthusiastically waving Indian flags during what appears to be a patriotic procession, and it has been falsely claimed to be from Balochistan to suggest support for India from the region. However, the truth is that the video is not from Balochistan at all—it was actually filmed in Surat, Gujarat, during a local patriotic event.

An Influencer @DilipKu24388061 posted this video with this claim:

“RSS marches in Balochistan. You must have heard the name RSS Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. These days it has become active in Balochistan, see.”

Several similar accounts like @Vikas20773265 and @DikshaSingh7522 have amplified the post, presenting it as evidence of Indian influence in Pakistani regions.

Truth behind the fake claim of RSS March in Balochistan

As soon as the video and claims came to our attention, the D-Intent Data team started looking into it. We checked the video carefully and used reverse image search and visual details to find out where it actually came from. It turns out the video is not from Balochistan, but from Surat, Gujarat, during a local patriotic procession. Banners such as “Operation Sindoor” and photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were visible in the background, confirming its Indian context.
The same video was also found on Instagram and covered in local

Gujarati news earlier this year.

Here’s the Google Satellite view of the area:

There is no connection between this video and any activity in Balochistan. It is a misrepresented video from Gujarat being falsely shared to support a misleading narrative.
