FACT: On February 15th, 2023, a portion of a metro bridge in Thane, Mumbai collapsed, According to initial reports, the collapse was caused by a structural failure in one of the pillars supporting the bridge. The exact cause of the failure is stillunder investigation, but it is suspected that the recent heavy rainfall in the area may have played a role in weakening structure. No casualties have been reported in the incident.Upon research we found that the shared video is old from Varanasi where an under-constructionflyover was collapsed in 2018. Nothing to do with recent bridge collapse in Thane.
