Israel-Palestine Conflict — Old Visuals Of Russian Bombing in Syria Falsely Claimed To Be Israeli Bombing on Gaza Strip: Fact-Check

A few images are being circulated claiming that Israeli forces are using internationally prohibited white phosphorus on heavily populated districts in the north of Gaza. The fact is that these images are old, and have nothing to do with the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists.

Misleading:

Upon research, we found a video uploaded 7 years ago on YouTube. As per the video, it is from Syria, where the Russian bombing was reported in June 2016.

INTENT: Misinformation propaganda accounts are circulating old visuals from Syria claiming to be from Gaza to set their propaganda against Israel.
