The Truth Behind the Incident : FACT

The real truth is that this is an outdated Swedish video and not a video from the current Israel – Palestine conflict. The claim made by the users on the social media were not real.

The incident happened in 2022 during a protest against the burning of the Quran. The rioters took over the town in mid-April 2022 after the management was forced to retreat and the police to back off. The video is outdated and unrelated to the current Middle East conflict.

An article by FRIA TIDER, was published on April 16, 2022 where they gave their views on the incident in Sweden, which translates to “The police management forbade the police to intervene against the violence”.

They also wrote “The scandalous images of how criminal immigrants publicly humiliate the police have been cabled all over the world today. Now the effort is being criticized from all sides and individual police officers are writing submissions about how they were reluctantly forced by management to back off and let the criminals take over the town.

Nevertheless, this week sees a rally in Stockholm by pro-Palestinian protesters.

On Sunday, a group of protesters came to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, at Sergels Torg Square to voice their support for Palestine and opposition to the Israeli occupation. The protesters sent a strong message of solidarity during the social media-organized rally by waving Palestinian flags and carrying banners.

With words like “Free Palestine,” “Boycott Israel,” and “Israel is killing our children,” they expressed their profound concern for the ongoing situation in the area.

The article was published on Oct 9,2023 regarding this incident. Read here the full article here.
