The Truth Behind the Picture that went viral on the social media : Fact
The truth is that all of the homes were constructed on encroached government land. In accordance with the law, the authorities have destroyed every home. Despite being warned to leave the property and given notice, the encroachers disregarded the warnings. The authorities intervened and destroyed all of the illegal construction in August 2023. It is not related to religion in any way. The person who had illegally trespassed onto railway property was taken out.
An article was published on Sept 8,2023 where it said that according to Nitin Garg, Divisional Work Engineer at North Central Railway, the notification was sent on June 6. They had a month to leave the house, but they didn’t. After a month has passed, this action is being taken. This area needs to be worked on in roughly 30 metres.
We visited abp LIVE to get more details about the incident. Supreme Court Hearing on this Demolition was held on 28 August in the case of action to remove encroachment near Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura. During this, Railways said that the anti-encroachment campaign has been completed. The Supreme Court of India has declined to order the removal of encroachment from railway land in Mathura, close to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. According to the court, Railways has been notified that the anti-encroachment campaign is now complete. This is not the kind of case where hearings are necessary. For any additional relief, the petitioners may go to the lower court.
At the moment, the train that runs from Mathura to Vrindavan is metre gauge. For the past few years, this route’s railway service has been discontinued. On both sides of the boundary, permanent housing has been constructed. This line will now be made broad gauge by Railways. The settlers there were not affected by the three notices that the railways gave them to leave their land. The Railways then began their bulldozing.
