Israel-Palestine Conflict- Old Image Of Israeli Soldiers Holding A Child Resurfaced With False Claims: Fact-Check

An photograph has gone viral with the accusation that the IDF has recently attacked defenseless children.

Several users on twitter, including Egyptian lawyer (“@SaidMm8242“) shared the picture on Nov 14,2023 claiming that the child suffered from Israel terrorism. Fearing children is a sign of weakness and cruelty. He also questioned that whether a defenceless child deserve all these soldiers.

The truth is that this photograph is from 2021 or earlier.

While the world is witnessing a humanitarian disaster in the Israel- PalestineConflict, thousands of innocent people are getting killed by Hamas, propagandists are busy whitewashing atrocities and glorifying terrorism.

We visited EUTribune, which shared the same image on Feb 6,2021 and wrote “ICC jurisdiction extended to Israel-occupied West Bank, Gaza”.

There have already been countless instances of Palestinian children carrying out deathly attacks. Children always suffer the most during wars because they are most susceptible to the terrible consequences of conflict. However, radical extremists and others who support terrorism use them to further their mission of societal misinformation.

Claim : The accusation that the IDF recently attacked helpless children is accompanied by a photograph that is going viral.

Fact : The picture in reality is from 2021, or earlier. It is not from the current conflict of Israel and Hamas.
