The truth is that in the Awantipora neighbourhood of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday attached two residential buildings, including single- and double-storey homes that belonged to terrorists. It is unrelated to common residential buildings.

The tweet was made by @kashmirnew1, clarifying about the incident. The twitter post was made on Dec 7, 2023, which tweeted “NIA attaches residential house in Awantipora village #NIASeizesResidentalHouse #UAPA #NIASpecialCourtJammu #PulwamaDistict“.

The official account of Press Trust of India (“@PTI_News“) also tweeted “VIDEO | NIA seizes property of militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.” and shared the original video of the incident on Dec 7, 2023.
