What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

The truth is that in the Awantipora neighbourhood of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday attached two residential buildings, including single- and double-storey homes that belonged to terrorists. It is unrelated to common residential buildings.

The tweet was made by @kashmirnew1, clarifying about the incident. The twitter post was made on Dec 7, 2023, which tweeted “NIA attaches residential house in Awantipora village #NIASeizesResidentalHouse #UAPA #NIASpecialCourtJammu #PulwamaDistict“.

The official account of Press Trust of India (“@PTI_News“) also tweeted “VIDEO | NIA seizes property of militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.” and shared the original video of the incident on Dec 7, 2023.

We also visited Times of India which published an article on this incident on Dec 7, 2023 with the headline “Jammu and Kashmir: NIA attaches properties of terrorists in Awantipora”.

After proper research, analysis and fact-checking, we have discovered that the terrorists’ residences in the Awantipora neighbourhood of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district were attached by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday. These residences included both single- and double-storey homes. Common residential buildings are unrelated to it.
