What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact
In actuality, a temple was also demolished in addition to Dargah, and the notice against the illegal occupation was received one day prior to the action. A similar event occurred in August 2023 when officials demolished an unauthorised constructed section of the Dargah and Temple. Illegal construction has recently surfaced in front of the Dargah and Temple. Therefore, the PWD took the initiative to demolish that illegal construction again.
An article was published by ETV Bharat, regarding the same incident on Jan 3, 2024 with the headline “रानी झांसी रोड स्थित मामा-भांजे की मजार पर चला बुलडोजर”. It clarified that using a bulldozer, PWD officials demolished the encroachment near Jhansi Road in Delhi. On Wednesday, January 2, 2024, Delhi Police, Paramilitary Forces, and PWD officials were present for the demolition. The Delhi Police booth and the illegal stores constructed on Rani Jhansi Road were also taken down.
