Verified accounts on twitter, including The Muslim (“@TheMuslim786“) tweeted “Saudi Arabia: Madinah Municipality is now washing and cleaning the streets of Madinah near the Holy Mosque Al-Nabawi, where some #islamophobic anti-Muslim non-Muslim BJP officials including Mushrik Smriti Irani had visited a few days ago .” The tweet was made on Jan 12, 2024, which has received an about 103.2k views on X.

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact
The man filming the video is from the Indian subcontinent, and that the video is not authentic. This footage is from the routine cleaning work. There are numerous videos of the Al Nabawi Mosque’s routine cleaning on the social media.
We visited ARAB NEWS, which published an article on this incident on July 16, 2013 with the headline “3,200 workers keep Prophet’s Mosque clean”. The video was uploaded on Facebook by Nabil Mehta Alam on March 11, 2022 who wrote that Bangladeshi brothers should be saluted for cleaning the area near the Al Nabawi Mosque. The video was uploaded in Youtube on September 3, 2021 in the shorts video which shows the cleaning process in the Masjid Al Nabawi in Madina. The same youtube user uploaded the related video on Jan 8, 2022 showing the cleaning process after heavy rain. aammedia productions showed the heroes, who cleans the Masjid Al-Nabawi dedicately and routinely.
