What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

In actuality, these assertions are unfounded and untrue. The Muniguda Group Health Centre was visited by Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra as part of the Kayakalpa team visit programme, according to the Police. Jitu Jakashika, the accused BSP leader, showed up there accompanied by his backers. He began yelling at the medical staff present, complaining that they were not giving people the proper care at the health centre. Subsequently, the accused gave Doctor Sabyasachi a forceful slap on the cheek. Not Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra, but Jitu Jakashika, the accused, was taken into custody and he was not physically assaulted for mocking someone’s caste.

Propagandists are circulating videos with false claims to set their propaganda based on caste. A video that shows a politician slapping a health officer is being circulated with multiple misleading claims, such as a Brahmin doctor was attacked without reason(or for calling Low Caste) by a BSP leader & later booked under the SC/ST act. These assertions are, in fact, unfounded and false. As part of the Kayakalpa team visit programme, Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra reportedly paid a visit to the Muniguda Group Health Centre. There came accused BSP leader Jitu Jakashika and his backers. He began yelling at the medical staff there after complaining that patients weren’t receiving the care they needed at the health centre. Afterwards, the defendant gave Doctor Sabyasachi a forceful slap on the cheek. It was not Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra who was arrested but the accused Jitu Jakashika, and he was not beaten up for disparaging someone’s caste.

Conclusion:

Fact : The fact is that these claims are false and baseless. According to Police Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra visited the Muniguda Group Health Center as part of the Kayakalpa team visit programme. Accused BSP leader Jitu Jakashika arrived there with his supporters. He complained that people were not being provided proper health care at the health center and started shouting at the health workers present. Later, the accused attacked Doctor Sabyasachi with a hard slap on his cheek. The accused, Jitu Jakashika, was arrested, not Dr. Sabyasachi Mohapatra, and he was not beaten for calling someone low caste.
