It has been claimed that a man wearing a mask and secretly looking under a woman’s skirt is from India and was captured on camera in Japan. The video has gone viral.

Verified accounts on twitter, including @stairwayto3dom shared the video and tweeted “INDIAN IN JAPAN” on April 9, 2024. The tweet has received an about 601.6k views on X.

Several other accounts, including @AsianDigest, @mawar_poetih, @FariSikder, @RahulAgrawaI, @HassasHaberler made the same claim that the masked man from India secretly looked under a woman’s skirt in Japan. The archive can be read from above.

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

These allegations regarding the accused’s Indian male identity are untrue. The man’s identity was left unsaid when the video was first shared on Chinese social media platforms by a number of Chinese accounts. There is no confirmed source confirming the man’s Indian heritage, nor the precise location or veracity of the video. Upon closer inspection, the accused is clearly Chinese, not Indian, and the letters that are visible are Chinese; as a result, the video originates from China. The incident was captured on surveillance camera”. Further, we went to posts.careerengine.us, which posted about this with the heading “Shocking! A man in a shopping mall actually stuck his head into a girl’s skirt to peek at her, which is horrifying!” on April 5, 2024.
