Verified accounts on twitter, including @ippatel tweeted “Indy Alliance is expressing its anger over its defeat by breaking EVMs. The Naxal gang has also been slapped by the Supreme Court. #Election2024” on April 26, 2024. The tweet has received an about 258.8k views on X.

Several other accounts, including @BrijeshRai4bjp, @shiv_up47, @INDVivekPandey_ made the same claim that the video purporting to be from the ongoing “General Elections 2024”, features someone destroying an electronic voting machine inside a polling booth.
