Several other accounts, including @TheKhabriTweets, @Aashu9 claimed that Poonam Pandey died because of cervical cancer or drug overdose. They believed that the popular star died and spread the news on the social media.
NDTV also claimed the same and published an article with the headline “Model-Actor Poonam Pandey Dies Of Cervical Cancer At 32, Says Her Team” on Feb 3, 2024. Deccan Herald also posted about the actress’ death on Feb 2, 2024 with the headline “Poonam Pandey dies of cervical cancer, claims her manager”. It was claimed that after the actress’ death, her team from the official instagram account of poonampandeyreal posted officially about the shocking death pf the actress due to cervical cancer.

As a matter of fact, this is all fake. She’s still here and doing great. They are unfounded and fraudulent claims. As she subsequently posted a video on Instagram asserting “awareness” for cervical cancer, the entire fake death hoax was a rumour.
