A Hindu woman who was not wearing a burqa was allegedly denied access to a bus during Bangladesh’s holy month of Ramzan, according to a video that has gone viral and features her in an argument with a bus conductor.

Verified accounts on twitter, including @ajaychauhan41 tweeted “A Hindu woman not wearing a burqa was not allowed to travel by bus during the holy Ramzan in Bangladesh.” on March 25, 2024. The tweet has received an about 50.5k views on X.

Several other accounts, including @jpsin1, @ByRakeshSimha, @pakistan_untold, @sanjoychakra made the same claim that bus transportation is prohibited for Hindu women who are not covered by a burqa during the month of Ramadan in Bangladesh. @jpsin1 further made another tweet to support the claim regarding this video. According to the user, a Muslim bus conductor did not allow a Hindu woman to board the bus and forcefully threw her out of the bus because she was a Hindu and not wearing a burqa in Bangladesh. What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

The viral video is, in fact, scripted and unrelated to anything actual. The Facebook page of a content creator uploaded it. It was uploaded by a Facebook page named “Carton Show” on March 14, 2024. The claim that it is actually a true incident is misleading, it is just a scripted video uploaded by the content creator.
