The tweet has received an about 537.4k views on X.

The truth is that these accusations are false and unfounded. This video shows residents vandalising EVMs at a polling booth in Moirang Kampu, Manipur, claiming ‘proxy voting’. There’s nothing to do with EVM fraud. So, the claim that women in Manipur broke the EVM after only lotus being printed, even after pressing any button is not true at all. The video was uploaded in Youtube on April 19, 2024.
