Fact Check: A scripted video of a woman assaulting a man for flexing muscles circulated as a real-life incident

A video showing a man flexing his muscles in front of a couple, which ends with the woman hitting him, has been circulating online with claims that it captures a real incident where a Muslim man allegedly displayed his physique to a Hindu woman, leading her to retaliate. However, D-Intent Data has discovered that this video is scripted and produced as entertainment, not a depiction of any actual event.

Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) serial fake news peddler and propagandist account @RealBababanaras wrote. Chhapri Abdul removes his shirt to show his body to a Hindu woman and is well-treated by the brave Hindu woman. Resist the unrighteous. This is the right path. Salute

Another propaganda account @ajaychauhan41 has also disseminated the video and wrote. While making a reel this madrasa cad took off his shirt to show his body to a Hindu lady, the brave Hindu lady behaved well with him. Oppose the unrighteous. This is the right way.

Several other users and Influencers have also shared the video and made similar claims. Their posts can be seen here, @FrontalForce, @ThadhaniManish_

The truth about the viral video, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was not a real-life incident. But scripted.

To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to an Instagram post containing the same video uploaded in September 2024 with a caption indicating it as a message. The video was uploaded on the Instagram account of Tamanna Kohli (@Tamannakohli786787). As per the Instagram bio, she is a video creator and Influencer.

Upon reviewing the Instagram account’s timeline, multiple similar videos (1, 2, 3, 4) involving the same woman were found.

We also found her YouTube channel where she can be seen involved in such activities in multiple videos.

Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data‘s Fact Check that the viral video was not a real-life situation. But a scripted video created by content creators.

Intent

Social media users, influencers and propagandists are circulating scripted videos with misleading claims to set their narrative based on religion.
