The video is actually from Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh, where in March 2024, a man named Srinivasulu Reddy assaulted his parents over a property dispute.
Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter), anti-India propagandist account @stairwayto3dom wrote, “Why are Hindus attacking Muslim families?”. The post has received a significant number of views, likes and engagements. Later, he deleted the post.
Another propaganda account @Bernadotte22 has also shared the video and wrote, “Hindu attacks Muslim family”. Later, she deleted the post.

As soon as the posts containing the sensitive video and claims came to our notice. We conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was old. And unrelated to religious hate crimes against any religious group.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to media reports containing the same video uploaded in March 2024. According to the media reports(1,2), this is an old video from Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh where a man named Srinivasulu Reddy brutally assaulted his parents over transfer of property in March 2024. Hence, It has nothing to do with religious hate crime. Later, the accused son was arrested.
