Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) @jimhamilton4 wrote, “That’s it. It’s over.” The post has received more than 4.5 million views, 2.6k likes and a significant number of engagements. The short video claims that “Believe it or not this is not CGI”.

As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was not real but digitally altered or AI-generated.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to a post on X (Formerly Twitter) according to the post, the video features athlete Skyler Davis kicking the ball.
Taking a cue from the post we visited Skyler Davis’s Instagram account and found the same video on his timeline uploaded in October 2020.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the viral video depicting a robot kicking a football doesn’t depict a real incident but an AI-generated video.
